Why five, and not one
One paper gives you a score. Five give you a pattern.
Sit a single mock test and you learn roughly where you stand — but you cannot tell whether the marks you dropped in the listening section were a real weakness or one bad morning. Sit five, and the same part starts coming up short every time. That is the part worth studying, and you cannot see it from one sitting.
They also fit a schedule. Spread across the weeks before the exam — one now, one after each block of study, one in the final week — the sets become a way of checking that what you are doing is working, instead of a single verdict at the end.
And the price per set is lower than buying the five separately.

Sit them the way you will sit the real exam
- The same sections and the same time limits — 25, 55 and 35 minutes
- The pauses for writing your answers match the real exam. We measured the audio of the
official sample questions and matched the timing to it, so you can play a whole part through without stopping the file

The five sets are equals
They are the same format, the same number of questions and the same length. The questions are different; the difficulty is not. There is no order you have to follow — but sitting one early and keeping one for the last week is what most people find useful.
Newly written to the current format
Every question in all five sets is newly written to the format of the current N4. No past exam material is reproduced.

JLPT N4 の模擬試験 5 セットをまとめてお渡しします。本番と同じ形式の 1 回分が 5 つ。印刷して、 机に時計を置いて、本番までの間に 1 セットずつ解いてください。
1 セットではなく、5 セットである理由
1 回分では点数しか出ませんが、5 回分あると「傾向」が出ます。
模試を 1 回だけ解いても、だいたいの位置は分かります。ただ、聴解で落とした数問が本当の弱点なのか、 その日たまたま崩れただけなのかは分かりません。5 回分解くと、毎回同じ大問で落ちていることが 見えてきます。勉強し直す価値があるのはそこです。これは 1 回では分かりません。
日程に割り当てて使えます。いま 1 セット、ひと区切りついたところで 1 セット、最後の週に 1 セット、 というふうに本番までの間に配ると、最後に 1 回だけ判定を受けるのではなく、やっていることが効いて いるかを途中で確かめられます。
1 セット当たりの値段も、ばらばらに買うより安くなります。

5 セットは対等です
形式も問題数も分量も同じで、違うのは問題そのものです。難しさを変えてはいません。解く順番の 決まりもありません。ただ、早いうちに 1 セット解いて、最後の週にもう 1 セット残しておく使い方が、 いちばん役に立つと思います。
