摩周湖は日本で一番透明度が高く、美しい湖です。そして、バイカル湖についで世界第二位の透明度を誇ります。

Lake Masyu has the top visibility and is an astonishingly beautiful lake in Japan. It is also known for the second-best visibility of the water around the world following Lake Baikal.

摩周湖近くにある神の子池も息をのむほどの美しさです。
